A warehouse building measuring 25x60x6m was constructed in Bavaria, Germany, where the design had to account for a snow load of 232 kg/m². By utilizing a truss system, the structure’s weight was optimized, significantly reducing the overall construction cost. The building was erected on an elevated strip foundation, ensuring ground-level waterproofing during heavy snowfalls typical of this region. As the facility is unheated, trapezoidal sheet cladding was chosen for the exterior. The building is also equipped with a smoke vent system integrated with an alarm system, allowing for the rapid evacuation of smoke in the event of a fire.
